A new Kindle jailbreak named Véra has been released with support for several current-generation e-readers running firmware up to version 5.19.6, as reported by The eBook Reader. Method and Compatible Devices
Véra installs from the Kindle's stock browser, with no host computer required. The installation guide is hosted on the Kindle Modding website.
